The lone wolf road to the getaway!

The Lone Wolf Road to the Getaway Shootout is a Lone Wolf Pool League member exclusive bi-weekly pool event where players qualify through official 4-man qualifier boards for a spot in the final Shootout. There is no limit to the amount of Shootouts per year and they will be held as soon as the 12 seats are filled. 

Players are split at 425. They compete on official qualifier boards. Qualifier boards are 4-player, single-elimination boards. Winning or qualifying through a board earns the player a spot or eligibility into the Getaway 12 Shootout.

The final Shootout is a 12-player, one-day, double-elimination tournament. One winner will be crowned, and that winner will choose one of the available getaway prize options. 

Qualifier boards are FREE!

The Getaway 12 Shootout entry fee is $180.

Winning a qualifier board does not mean the player receives cash. It qualifies the player for the Getaway Shootout.

The winner of the Getaway Shootout may choose one of the listed getaway options.

1. Vegas Pool Getaway for One 
2. Emerald Coast Beach Getaway for Two 
3. Caribbean Cruise Getaway for Two 
4. Mountain Retreat Getaway for Two

Prize details are subject to availability, travel pricing, scheduling, and the maximum reimbursement limit.

The winner may choose their getaway option, confirm with league operator, book the approved trip, and LWPL will reimburse eligible trip costs up to the prize limit. Any cost above the prize limit is the winner’s responsibility. Any unused portion of the prize value is not paid as cash. Receipts, booking confirmation, or other proof of purchase may be required before reimbursement is issued.

If the winner needs advanced the funds for the trip, LWPL will advance the prize money for one part of the trip at a time. For example, LWPL may advance funds for airfare first, then release the next portion for lodging after proof of purchase is provided for airfair. Any advance payments must be approved by LWPL before booking. The winner must provide receipts, booking confirmations, or other proof of purchase before additional funds are released. Total advances and reimbursements will not exceed the prize limit. 

LWPL will use FargoRate information to determine whether a player belongs in the Core 425 & Below side or the Elite / Open 426+ side. If a player’s rating changes, is entered incorrectly, or is later found to be inaccurate, LWPL reserves the right to correct the player’s division, eligibility, or placement.

LWPL may adjust event dates, board schedules, race lengths, bracket format, number of qualifiers, or other event details if needed due to turnout, table availability, player availability, weather, venue issues, or other reasonable circumstances.

If the Shootout field does not fill as expected, LWPL may modify the final format while keeping the intent of the event as close as possible to the posted flyer.

Travel prizes are subject to availability, price changes, blackout dates, airline and lodging rules, cruise rules, and any other requirements from the travel provider. LWPL is not responsible for missed flights, cancellations, travel delays, denied boarding, passport or ID issues, personal expenses, baggage fees, upgrades, deposits, damages, or incidental costs.

The winner is responsible for making sure they can legally and practically travel for the getaway they choose.

The listed getaway options are examples of the type of trip the winner may choose. Actual trip cost may vary depending on travel dates, booking timing, lodging choice, airfare, cruise pricing, and availability. LWPL’s responsibility is limited to the reimbursement amount.

LWPL has final authority on event rules, eligibility, board results, Shootout entry, prize approval, and prize reimbursement. The goal of this event is to create a fun, competitive pool event and give the winner a memorable getaway prize while keeping the event fair and manageable for all players.
